So you have curry paste, and of course you use it for curries...but is that all you can make? Not at all! There are SO many different delicious ways to incorporate curry pastes in to various dishes.
Whether you buy the paste or make it, curry paste is one of the most versatile ingredients in Thai cuisine. In this video I'm sharing 5 different ways here Thai curry paste is used in Thai cuisine, but remember to think outside the box and use it in non-Thai dishes as well!

I myself eat curry paste raw. never had ill effects. So it's safe.

I keep several flavors of jarred Indian curry paste in the fridge, and the label specifically says that it must be cooked before use. Which is why it never gets added to my raitas. What is different about Thai curry paste that makes it safe to use 'raw'? Thank you.

I never eat Thai curry paste raw...though I don't think it would be hazardous if you did. Where do you see that it says Thai curry pastes are safe to eat raw?

Thanks for these tips! Curry paste also works well for a soup base. I also make an amazing fish marinated in curry paste with a bit of lemon juice and baked in the oven. so delicious!
